Think of Fishiness Rating as a Rotten Tomatoes score or restaurant rating for the area of the river you are viewing.
The rating is a combination of a variety of factors such as temperature, seasonality, water flow, and more.
These variables are weighted based on their likeliness to impact fishing in a positive or negative way.
The higher the number the better the fishing will be.
We are always tweaking the algorithm so if you feel like a rating you are looking at isn't representative of the actual fishing conditions at that point in time, please let us know.
